Bangiya Bijnan Parishad jointly with S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences started the yearlong programme to celebrate the 125th Birth Anniversary of Acharya Satyendra Nath Bose organising a rally on 1st January, 2018. A National Level Seminar was organized on 24 – 25 March, 2018 in the small auditorium of Science City in collaboration with Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal. 109 Lectures, on Life and Work of S. N. Bose, were organized jointly by Bangiya Bijnan Parishad and S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Schools and Colleges in all Districts of West Bengal and also jointly organized different Competitions (Essay writing, Extempore speech, Quiz, Documentary Film Making Competition) among school students (VIII – XII) during July – August, 2018. BBP have already Published a Special Issue (May, 2018 issue) of “Jnan– o– Bijnan” on S. N. Bose and are going to publish one book entitled “Satyendra Nath Bose – Jiban O Kriti” on 1 January, 2019 in the culminating Programme. Culminating programme of 125th Birth Anniversary of Acharya Satyendra Nath Bose will be organized on 1 January, 2019 (126th Birthday of Acharya Bose) Tuesday at 10.30 A.M. in the auditorium of Bangiya Bijnan Parishad.
